Hello,
Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Community and I'll be glad to assist you today.
I understand that you are having trouble connecting your HP PC to a Wi-Fi network suddenly.
Have you checked if the network drivers are still available or missing in Device Manager?
I recommend trying a few troubleshooting steps listed below to see if they resolve the issue:
• Method 1.
Run the Network Troubleshooter.
- Go to Start > Settings > System > Troubleshooter > Other troubleshooter > Network & Internet > Select Run.
- Once the troubleshooter has diagnosed the issue, restart your computer.
• Method 2.
Re-install Network Adapters.
- Open the Device Manager.
- Expand the arrow next to Network adapters.
- Right-click your default Network driver (usually Intel (R) Wi-Fi or Realtek), select Uninstall device, select the Attempt to remove the driver for this device check box, and then select Uninstall.
- Once uninstalled, restart your PC.
(Windows will automatically re-install the Wi-Fi drivers for your PC). See if the Wi-Fi icon is enabled again on the taskbar. If it is still missing,
• Type msinfo in the search bar on the taskbar and click enter. Post a screenshot of the resulting dialog box in your next reply.
Also, see the "Troubleshooting network problems in Windows" article for reference.
