You should allow Private networks when you see that popup, that will be the best setting for VS Code, unless you are accessing Internet through a public network in a school or other facility.

this popup when i install visual studio code and is asking if i want to allow acess to public and private network , should i allow it , or not , if i allow it which one should i allow public or private
