Hi,
I am currently having an issue with my Surface Pro 9. I've recently noticed that my Memory Usage is usually at >80%.
I've just restarted, and it is consuming 81% (before opening MS Edge).
I've already ran the Surface Diagnostic Toolkit.
I've already ran System File Checker Tool and DISM commands
Is this normal for my Surface Pro 9 to use this amount of RAM? If not, can I get a solution on how to resolve this?
The biggest impact I have with this high consumption is that the camera refuses to open due to lack of memory (if I decide to join a Teams Call).

Hello, Carlos Henrique Neris
Welcome to the Microsoft Community
Thank you for your feedback. I read the information you provided. You mentioned that your computer has abnormal memory usage.
Please explain to you that the computer's running memory is mainly occupied by three parts: the memory occupied by Windows, the memory occupied by the foreground running programs, and the memory occupied by the background running programs. Generally speaking, insufficient memory is caused by opening a lot of programs and not completely closing them. These programs will continue to run in the background. Over time, your available memory will be insufficient.
So, I suggest you try to press Win + X to open the Task Manager, where you can see which specific programs are occupying your memory. You can also right-click on the threads that occupy too much memory and choose to close them manually, which can free up a lot of free memory.
At the same time, I suggest you try a clean boot, which starts Windows with a minimum set of drivers and startup programs. Then test whether your computer's memory usage meets your expectations.
Disclaimer: "Clean Boot" starts Windows with a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. It helps determine whether background services are interfering with your games or programs and isolates the cause of the problem.
Best regards
