How do I find my product key number?

Thank you for your feedback. Based on your description, you want to find the Windows product key. Could you please confirm if your Windows 10 system was purchased separately or if it came pre-installed (OEM)?

If you purchased Windows from the Microsoft Store or another authorized retailer, the product key is usually sent to your email after purchase. Please check your inbox and spam folder for a confirmation email from Microsoft or the retailer.

If you purchased a digital copy from the Microsoft Store, the product key might be associated with your Microsoft account. You can log in to your Microsoft account to view your order history and find the product key information.

If you bought a physical copy, the product key is usually on a card inside the packaging or on a label on the packaging.

If your system is OEM pre-installed, you can right-click the Start menu, select Windows PowerShell (Admin), and enter the following command (make sure there are no extra spaces before or after the command):

(Get-WmiObject -query 'select * from SoftwareLicensingService').OA3xOriginalProductKey
