Lvnnia, sorry for the late reply.

The "recovery console" mentioned in the article refers to the Windows Recovery Environment (WinRE), which you can access by holding Shift and clicking Restart on the sign-in screen.

In WinRE, you can perform troubleshooting tasks such as Startup Repair or System Restore without affecting your personal files. These tools may help you resolve issues and regain access to your system.

I hope this information helps. If you have any questions, please let me know and I will be happy to help you further.

    Best regards,

    Gunasekar N

    Hello Lvnnia,

Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Community and I'll be glad to assist you today.

I am sorry that you are having trouble signing in on your Personal computer.

Your account might be disabled in the local users and group policy settings. To enable the account,

    • Boot your PC in safe mode:

    1. On the Windows sign-in screen, press and hold the Shift key while you select Power > Restart.
    2. After your PC restarts to the Choose an option screen, select Troubleshoot > Advanced options >Startup Settings > Restart.
    3. Select F4 or 4 to boot the PC in safe mode.
    4. Click Start, search for Computer Management, and open it.
    5. Expand Local Users and Groups, click Users, right-click Administrator in the right pane, and then click Properties.
    6. Click to clear the Account is disabled check box, and then click OK.
