    Dear Ziyad S.M!

    Welcome to the Microsoft Community!

Based on the information you provided, here are some further steps to diagnose and resolve the issue of not being able to connect to the 5GHz network:

    Check other device connections:

Confirm that other devices (such as mobile phones, tablets, etc.) are able to connect to the 5GHz network normally. If other devices are also unable to connect, the problem may be with the router or network service.

Check the wireless network adapter settings:

Open the "Device Manager", find your wireless network adapter (Realtek RTL8822CE 802.11ac PCIe Adapter), and double-click it to open it.

Click the "Properties" tab, and then switch to the "Advanced" tab.

Here, check if there are any settings related to 5GHz networks, such as "Preferred Band" or "Wireless Mode", and make sure they are set to allow connection to 5GHz networks.

    Check Windows Updates:

Go to "Settings" > "Update & Security" > "Update History" to check if there are any recent updates that may affect wireless connectivity.

If you notice that a specific update was installed before the problem occurred, you can try uninstalling that update.

    Check recently installed software:

Think about whether you have installed any new software or applications recently, especially those related to network connectivity or security, such as firewalls or VPN clients. These software may interfere with wireless connections.

    Network Reset:

You have already tried resetting your network settings, but if you did not follow the correct process exactly, you may need to try again. Run the following commands in Command Prompt (Admin):

(Enter the next line after each one is completed)

    ipconfig /release

    ipconfig /renew

    ipconfig /flushdns

    ipconfig /registerdns

    netsh int ip reset

    netsh winsock reset

    netsh winhttp reset proxy

Try the above steps and try to reconnect to the 5GHz network after each step. If the problem persists, please provide more information, including any specific actions or changes you made, which may help further diagnose the problem.

May everything be perfect for you at the end of 2024 and all the best in the coming 2025~

    Best regards,
