Microsoft tells me every week how long my son has been using the internet. Its gone from 30 to 40 to 60 hours per week, even though I only give him a 6 hour school day limit. Can Opera gx browser be used for school work? How can I see what apps he is using it for? TIA

Hi, I’m Vinay. Thanks for reaching out.

I’m here to help you today.

Opera GX does not have built-in parental control features, but you can check browsing history by clicking on Win + H when Opera GX is opened.

If you want to see the apps which your son is using then :

    1. Login to your Microsoft account and go to Family Safety.
    2. Go to your Son's profile then check " App and Game activity" & "Web and Search Activity"
    3. You can set web filters to enable restrictions, so that only school related sites can be accessed and also you can block specific apps or browsers if you need.

Opera GX can also be used for school work. It's a browser like others.

I hope this resolves your issue! If you have any queries, please let me know.

    Regards,

    Vinay
