calibrate touch screen setting missing windows 11

Hi, I got a new touch screen 2nd monitor for my Windows 11 PC. It works fine as a monitor but the touch screen input goes to the primary monitor not the 2nd monitor. If I unplug the main monitor or select mirror mode it works but I don't want to do that. It seems that what I need is the "calibrate touch screen" setting so I can tell it what monitor is the touch screen but that is missing from my settings.

I've tried disabling it in Device Manager (HID-compliant touch screen) then enabling it again.

I've tried uninstalling and then check hardware changes to reinstall.

There doesn't seem to be any specific driver from the manufacturer. If this is the only monitor plugged in then it works fine so it's not an issue with the device.

I've tried "msdt.exe -id DeviceDiagnostic" command.

I tried turning it off and on again in various ways such as restarting the PC, unplugging the screen's USB and HDMI but that doesn't work.

I don't want to reinstall windows if I can avoid it.

Any suggestions please?

Thanks, Seb

Thanks Kyo, the large icons tip worked, I did see that tip before but thought that if a setting existed then I'd be able to search for it.

When I press the Windows button (or Start button as us old timers call it 😁) I should be able to search for any setting. Why should I have to navigate through hidden menus to find it? Something Microsoft should consider, some of us Gen X who didn't have a mouse (or even windows) liked being able to use the Windows button to get places quickly. It works well on Android.

But thanks again Kyo, my new touch screen is now working well as a second monitor. I can interact with my music player while playing full screen on the main monitor.

Happy new year, best regards, Seb
