Multiple monitor questions?

Hey Community! I have another question! I have been trying to figure out what is the best method or way to run my monitor & TV. So, I don't know if this is a real issue, a bug, or me potentially being just stupid and not tech smart ha-ha. I will do my best to explain because I am learning more each day & learning how to use these forums or community correctly. Anway when I go to "Settings/Display I tried adjust each display correctly as I could. But I noticed If I don't run it a certain way which I currently find lacking some programs will extend the screen and touch the other screens. If I try readjusting the screen placement withing the Display settings, they re-adjust by themselves as if there is a magnet pulling them to the center. Below I will list my current specifics on displays that I have & an image of what it looks like in "Display" settings.

I have the following:
I have two 2K monitors& their resolution is 2560 x 1440 & it runs at 144Hz. Both run at those specifics. They are located #1 & #2.
I have one HD monitor & its resolution is 1920 x 1080 & it runs at 144Hz. It runs at those specifics. It is located at #4.
I have one 4K TV & its max resolution is 4096 x 2160 or runs anything below that resolution. It is set though to run at 1920 x 1080 at 144 Hz.

Now the issue arises when adjusting any of the resolutions for any of them. I am currently though looking for the best recommendations to use. I can't upgrade anytime soon so I am trying to make the best out of what I got. I still love my setup & I just upgraded recently which is why I can't upgrade again anytime soon. But I feel silly for getting a TV thinking games would or could run at 4K. Anyway, that isn't the issue ha-ha like is said.

I would love to play my 4K TV at 144Hz which Amazon in the description said it could, but it doesn't so to be honest i keep it at 1920 x 1080 because I can run it at 144Hz which to me is a requirement. I tried recently to switch to 4K resolution, but the issue was it affected my refresh rate or FPS. It went low as low as 30FPS, I think. That made me sick to the stomach and very dizzy, so it really affected me.

I look forward to receiving more knowledge & learning. Thanks, in advanced

    Hi, OfficialAbrahamH1993

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

We understand that you have encountered some troubles when using multiple monitors. From your description, what you have encountered sounds like a common problem of mismatched display arrangement and resolution. You can try the following steps to help you optimize the settings of your monitor and TV to make it work better.  1. Adjust the arrangement of the monitorIn the picture you provided, the arrangement of monitors may cause the problem of mouse and window moving across screens. You can try the following steps to adjust the arrangement of the monitor:Open settings:Click the Start button, and then select Settings.Enter the display settings:Select system-> display.Adjust the position of the monitor:In the display settings, you can drag the icon of the display to match the actual physical layout. For example, the display 1 and the display 2 are placed on both sides of the display 4, and the display 3 is put back in a proper position.Make sure that the edges between the display icons are aligned so that the mouse can move smoothly from one display to another.******2. Make sure the resolution and refresh rate are correct.**Make sure that the resolution and refresh rate of each monitor are set correctly to avoid refresh rate problems.Select a monitor:In the Display settings, select each monitor (click "1", "2", "3" or "4" in the icon).Set the resolution:Make sure that the resolution of each monitor is set at its optimal resolution. For example, the 2K monitor is set to 2560 x 1440, the HD monitor is set to 1920 x 1080, and the 4K monitor (if supported) is set to 3840 x 2160 or the 1920 x 1080 you currently select.Set refresh rate:In Advanced Display Settings, check and set the refresh rate of each monitor. Set it to 144Hz for your monitor.3. Connection mode and graphics card settingsMake sure that all your monitors and TVs are properly connected to your graphics card and configured in the graphics card settings.Check the connection mode:Ensure that all monitors are connected through appropriate interfaces, such as DisplayPort, HDMI, etc. If possible, use high-quality cables to ensure a stable connection.Update the video card driver:Download and install the latest graphics driver. For NVIDIA graphics cards, use NVIDIA official driver (GeForce Experience), and for AMD graphics cards, use AMD official website driver.Graphics card multi-monitor settings:Open the graphics control panel (NVIDIA Control Panel or AMD Radeon Settings) and configure the multi-monitor settings in it. Make sure that the resolution and refresh rate of each monitor are also set correctly in the graphics card control panel.4 deal with special requirementsIf the refresh rate of your 4K TV can't reach 144Hz at 4K resolution, try the following steps to optimize the game experience:Reduce 4K resolution:If you find that the refresh rate is very low at 4K, you can lower the resolution to 1920 x 1080 to improve the refresh rate.Set the independent display mode:When playing games, if you only use one monitor or TV, you can set it to single monitor mode in the graphics card control panel and set it as the main monitor to get the best performance. In addition, you need to ensure the following two points:Adjust in-game settings: Make sure the resolution and display settings in the game match the Windows display settings.Set as the main display: in the settings, select the monitor or TV that you mainly use as the main display (Make this my main display). If you have more questions or need more help, please feel free to contact us.
