In the last few days, font size has reduced on Chrome tabs, File Explorer & Desktop icons (looks about 4pt). May have been after a Win11 update, not sure

Other apps and display show normal size font. Have tried everything!

Its not scale settings as all other font sizes on screen is ok (e.g. MS Edge, 365 etc)

TIA

Please let me know if someone finds an answer. I'm in the exact same boat. And I fixed it through the registry previously, but I can't remember how. The normal ways to fix this

    Hi,

Kayece here, An Independent advisor and a user just like you. I will be happy to assist you today.

I understand that your font size was reduced on Chrome tabs, File Explorer, and your Desktop icons. Try the following steps and if the first one does not work, please proceed to the next step.

    *Change the scaling value.

Settings > System > Display > Scaling > Change the value and apply. Afterward,

back over to the normal value.

    *Change the Ease of access.

Go to the settings or press Win key + U > Ease of access setting > Display > change the font size from 100% to another percentage that is available to you and change it back afterward.

    *Change the text size

Go to Settings >Accessibility > Text size > Text size preview > Change the slider that fits you.

*Perform sfc and run the DISM command to check, scan, and restore the health of the system files by following the steps below.

*On powershell (admin), enter each command below:

    Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth

    Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth

    DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

    sfc /scannow

After all has been processed, Restart your device

I hope this helps. If you need more assistance, please let me know.

    Stay Safe!
