Hello. I recently deleted minecraft because of some troubles with it, but after I downloaded it back I couldn't find the icon on my laptop. The only way I could open minecraft is from the start menu or from the microsoft store. I've tried everything to put the icon back on my screen but nothing helped. I hope someone can help me with this

Hello ! I'm Aymeric, an independent advisor, and I'm here to help !

To create a desktop shortcut for the Minecraft Launcher, open the Xbox app (preinstalled on your PC) and locate Minecraft in the left corner.

Right-click on the game icon and choose “Manage”. A new window should open : click on the “Create desktop shortcut” button. You should be good to go.

Please let me know if you have any other question !

I would like to say most people don't have the Xbox app installed, as its an app almost no-one uses or likes. perhaps an alternative method could be used, like just pinning it to start or taskbar.
