windows 11, version 24h2 (repair version) failed PROBLEM FIXED THANK YOU ALL FOR THE HELP

Hello.

I tried to repair my windows 11 using the fix problems using windows update option, my problem is now the update failed and i cant remove it, it keeps retrying to download but fails at 8%. I have fixed the problems i was having with windows now i just need to remove the update so that it stops retrying.

This is the update:

Windows 11, version 24H2 (repair version)

This update can't be downloaded and installed because it's not yet ready for your device.

windows 11 pro version:10.0.26100 build:26100.

cpu: ryzen7 7800x3d.

ram: 64gb ddr5 @6000M/ts.

m/b: msi mpg x670e carbon wifi (ms-7d70).

Any help would be apprecatiated.

PROBLEM FIXED THANK YOU ALL FOR THE HELP

I ran an in place windows upgrade reinstalling windows but keeping all programs and settings, it fixed it for me hopefully it will work for you.

    Please see this Microsoft notice:

    Current status as of December 4, 2024  Windows 11, version 24H2, also known as the Windows 11 2024 Update, is now available. This latest version of Windows is being rolled out in phases, and it has now entered a new stage of availability.

    Version 24H2 is being offered to a wider range of eligible devices running Windows 11, versions 22H2 and 23H2.

    To check if the update is available for your device, simply select Settings > Windows Updateand select Check for updates.

    If your device is ready for the update, you’ll see the option to Download and install.

    Please share your setup logs to help us determine why the setup failed.

    The following batch file collects the setup logs and saves the zip file to your desktop.

    Download setuplogscollect.bat and run it.
