Hello. I uninstalled the updates and it fixed the issue for five minutes and it returned. Microsoft techs can't fix it - it needs a patch which they refuse to release. I guess class action is the only way to solve it at this point since my computer is now unusable. I'm typing this on my phone.

    Hello,Allison MD

I understand your feelings very well, please don't worry and I will keep an eye on your problem. From your description so far, the fact that the problem reappeared five minutes after you uninstalled the update suggests that it probably has something to do with incompatible third-party software or drivers. I would like to ask you to observe if it works properly in Safe Mode, the steps to enter Safe Mode are as follows:

    1. Press and hold the power button for 10 seconds to turn off your device.
    2. Press the power button again to turn on your device.
    3. Immediately after Windows starts (e.g., on some devices, the manufacturer's logo is on restart), press and hold the power button for 10 seconds to turn off the device.
    4. Press the power button again to turn on your device.
    5. Press and hold the power button for 10 seconds to turn off your device while Windows restarts.
    6. Press the power button again to turn on your device.
    7. Allow the device to restart to perform the automatic repair, and then select "Advanced Options" to enter winRE.
    8. In winRE, on the "Select Options" screen, select "Troubleshoot > Advanced Options" > "Startup Settings > Restart". After the device restarts, you will see a list of options. Select "5" from the list or press F5 to enter the "Safe Mode with Networking", this way you can switch to the system's Safe Mode for further actions.

If you are currently no longer able to enter Safe Mode, it means that the most basic components of the system are damaged, and I would recommend that you try using a Repair and Install system or a reinstallation of the system.

    1. Select the Download Now tool - run the media creation tool - select Yes - select Accept - select Create installation media for another computer - select DVD ISO file - Save as local.
      Download Windows 11 (microsoft.com)
    2. Run the local WINDOWS. ISO file - right click - mount - select run setup.exe - select don't use it for now - select keep personal files and settings - select Next - wait for the installation of WINDOWS Repair to complete - restart the WINDOWS computer.

Disclaimer: Let’s try performing an in-place install or in-place upgrade which will refresh your Windows files and operating system without removing files or applications. That being said, we always recommend that if you have important data, you should back it up before making large system changes. If you want to back up your data first, please do so. Once you are done backing up, you can follow the steps in the following guides: How to run In-place upgrade in Windows 11 - Microsoft Community

It is very unlikely that the driver will damage the hardware, so if the problem persists after the above steps, please try reinstalling the system. If the problem persists after reinstalling the system, it may be related to a hardware failure on the motherboard, and you will need to visit an offline repair store to have it serviced. If you find anything in the above steps, I would be happy to investigate further for you.

Disclaimer: At this point, we have exhausted all troubleshooting and I recommend that we try to perform a clean install to get your computer back into a working condition. Please ensure that you backup any important data, including Documents, Pictures, Videos, and more.

    Best Regards,

    Hello,

Please try uninstalling the latest updates. If it has been less than 10 days since you have upgraded to 24H2, then go to Settings > System > Recovery > Go back. Let Windows uninstall the update and then you should be good to go.

If it has been more than 10 days, you will have to go to WinRE to uninstall the update. To do this, go to Settings > System > Recovery > Restart now (next to Advanced Startup). After a blue screen asking "Choose an option" pops up, push Troubleshoot > Advanced Options > Uninstall Updates > Uninstall latest feature update.

Both of these will uninstall the latest update is installed.
