When I launch Marvel Rivals on Steam, a message pops up as below

"DirectX 12 is not supported on your system

Please update your Windows 10 64-bit operating system (version 1909 or later) and upgrade your graphics card driver.

Ensure that your graphics card meets the minimum requirements (NVIDIA GTX 1060 or AMD RX 580)."

Here's my current system.

  • Win 10 version 2004
  • Graphic GTX 1660S

Please help me check this issue.

I got the exact same error message, but am fully up to date both in terms of OS and graphics.

I have a 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor with Windows 11 Pro version 24H2. I also just downloaded the Intel® Arc™ & Iris® Xe Graphics which the support store is telling me is up to date.

I've updated all I can but am still getting this every time I try to launch the game. Is there a way to fix this?

Hi, I am Dave, I will help you with this.

Your graphics card does support DirectX 12, but your Windows version seems to be very much out of date, that is the most likely cause of the problem.

Click your Start Button, then just type winver and press Enter, please provide a screenshot of the resulting dialog box.
