Hi! I have this issue with MV C++ on the steam games mentioned. I tried to read on old threads which didnt really help.
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling these games and updating drivers and such to no avail and ended up asking for a refund for one of these games instead. this sucks since this means I cant play with friends.

my specs are:

Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10870H CPU @ 2.20GHz 2.21 GHz

Installed RAM 16.0 GB (15.8 GB usable)

Device ID 757E9549-4633-4F93-BD9A-81DCD259A457

Product ID 00325-82203-86088-AAOEM

System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

Edition Windows 11 Home

Version 23H2

Installed on ‎26/‎09/‎2023

OS build 22631.3810

Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.22700.1020.0

thanks in advance for any guidance. my laptop can run Helldivers2, final fantasy VII remake intergrade, WWZ and other heavy games without issue otherwise

Hi Leon, thanks for reaching out. My name is Bernard a Windows fan like you. I'll be happy to help you out today.

I understand the issue you have, there is nothing to worry I am here to help, this error is due to a Visual C++ runtime library error and it can also be caused by the incompatible display driver, since you have reinstalled the driver and the games, we need to repair the Visual C++ and the system files of the PC, kindly follow the steps below:

    Repair All Visual C++:

Press the Windows key + R and type:

    appwiz.cpl

    Then press

OK Right-click each Microsoft Visual C++> Click Change> click Repair

Note: Do this on all Visual C++ Restart the computer and check

Method 2. Download and install Visual C++ from the link below:

Kindly download and install X86 and X64:

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/cpp/windows/l...

If none will work from the above solution, I suggest doing an in-place upgrade wherein it will upgrade the device to the latest version and repair all issues without deleting any files.

Kindly follow the steps from this link:

    https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/for...

Let me know how it goes and I hope that helps.

    Bernard
