    Francisco,

Try changing the Hard disk Priority to

    USB --> Built-in HDD --> eSATA.

Save the configuration and exit BIOS.

If the device is still stuck on the Toshiba screen, turn off your computer.

Then, try pressing the F12 (or), F11, or F10 key repeatedly to open the Boot Menu. Once the Boot Menu appears, select the USB drive directly and proceed with the Windows setup again.

Let us know how it goes.

    best regards,

    Gunasekar N

    Francisco,

Restart your computer and repeatedly press the F2 key until the BIOS Utility screen appears.

    To reset your BIOS:

    1. Select Load Defaults and press **Enter**.
    2. Save the changes and exit the BIOS.

After the restart, press the **F12** key to access the boot menu. If the device remains stuck on the Toshiba screen:

    1. Enter the BIOS Utility screen again.
    2. Navigate to the **Boot** tab.
    3. Use the arrow keys to move your USB drive to the top of the boot priority list, followed by your hard disk.
    4. Save the changes and exit the BIOS.

Your device should now boot from the USB drive.

    Let us know the results.

    Best regards,

    Gunasekar N

    Hello Gunasekar,

Thank you very much for the reply.

Yes i did use the Media Creation Tool (MCT), and the USB works on my other laptop, i tried and it worked. I also tried plugging the USB into other ports and it still didn't work. The boot menu simply does not show up, and it gets stuck on the toshiba logo. I will include a photo of what it looks life after i press the f12 key (first photo), and another photo which will show what appears if i just turn on the computer normally (second photo).

Thank you very much for the reply.

    Hello Francisco,

Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Community and I'll be glad to assist you today.

I understand you’re having trouble installing Windows 10 on your Toshiba laptop.

    1. How did you create the Bootable Installation Media drive? Did you use the Media Creation Tool (MCT)?
    2. Have you tried plugging the Bootable USB drive into a different PC to see if it works?

    • Doing this will help determine whether the issue is with the USB drive or the device itself.

    • I recommend using a different USB drive to create a Bootable drive using the Media Creation Tool (MCT).

    • Also, try plugging the USB drive into different ports on your Toshiba laptop to see if it starts with the Windows installation screen.

Download Media creation tool from the Official Microsoft website.

I hope this information helps. If you have any questions, please let me know and I will be happy to help you further.

    Best regards,

    Gunasekar N
