Hello there!

I have an Dell Precision 3560 that I want to install windows 11 on. I've been trying to install windows 11 on it using a usb flash drive and that DID pop however I keep geting the Install Drivers to Show Hardware pop up. I don't know what I need to do to get on with the next step of the process of installing windows 11. I've tried setting the ssd to AHCI not RAID etc. It still pops up. Maybe this is because of the ssd I installed on it as its like some random Samsung ssd 256 gig lying around that got included in the deal as the laptop did not come with a ssd/hard drive. I checked bios and the storage said it was a Samsung mzvlb256hahq-000l7. idk if that will help but if anyone has any idea on how to solve this issue please tell me. Thanks!

Download the Intel RST driver from the Dell website, open it, select extract, and paste on the USB installation drive. (You need to do this procedure on another computer)

On the Windows installation, select Load Driver > locate the files you copied to the USB drive and check under the path "production\Windows10-x64\15063\Drivers" try the drivers under the VMD folder first, if it doesn't work, try the other folders.

    Hi!

I physically can't find the Intel VDM Technology thing. I checked everywhere thru the dell bios. I saw all these other Intel technologies but it wasn't disable VDM. If you have anything else valuable or that could help me please send it my way. Thank you!

    Hi,

I'm Rodrigo and I'll help you.

When you turn the computer on, press F2 to enter BIOS setup. Navigate to System Configuration > Intel VMD Technology > Select "Disabled" > Apply.

The SSD should show on the installer now.
