Malware - WPS Office - Why is this malware still in store?

Please remove WPS Office from the Store.

WPS Office behaves like malware, yet it remains available through the Store.

  • Its cloud store moves your documents all over the world, including to China and Russia <political content removed>
  • It installs without admin consent.
  • The EULA states documents written in WPS Office are property of WPS Office.
  • The developer is Chinese and is unaccountable.

The product mimics Office, it offers decent functionality.

And also WPS Office pulls all the *<removed by Moderator>*I mentioned above.

I plead to remove WPS Office from the Store, so at least it takes admin consent to install this malware.

Every damn week I have to uninstall this garbage from some costumer.

Point is you can install it without Administrator Privilege BUT you cant uninstall it as regular user.

It really act as a Malware spreading itself.

    Hi

This is a peer to peer support community, Users helping other users.
unfortunately, there is nobody here that can remove a product from the Microsoft Store.

The product listing on the store has a "Report this product" option, please use one of the links there to report your concerns to the Microsoft Store team.
