    Hello, Lukas Olejar

    Welcome to the Microsoft Community.

If you are unable to view the advanced BIOS settings on your Lenovo L340 laptop, here are some possible solutions:

    1. Enter BIOS setup

First of all, make sure you enter the BIOS correctly:

    Turn off your laptop completely.

Reboot and immediately press the F2 key repeatedly (once per second) until the BIOS screen appears.

For some models, you may need to use the Fn + F2 key combination.

If done correctly, you should be in the BIOS setup screen.

    1. Enable Advanced Settings (if not shown)

If you have entered the BIOS and you don't see the advanced options, it is possible that these settings are hidden. In some Lenovo laptops, some advanced settings are hidden by default.

You can try the following to enable them:

In the BIOS, look for an option called “Advanced” or “Advanced Mode”.

If you don't find it, check the “Configuration” or “Security” menu, which may have related advanced settings or unlock options.

If you can't find the option to unlock the advanced settings directly in the BIOS, you may be using a limited version of the BIOS, or these options are not available.

    1. Update BIOS

If you cannot find certain options in the BIOS, it may be because you have an older BIOS version. Updating the BIOS version may unlock additional settings or options.

    Visit the Lenovo Support website.

Enter your model number (Lenovo L340) to find the latest BIOS update for your system.

If a new BIOS version is available, follow the instructions on the website to download and update it.

Note: Updating the BIOS is risky and may cause problems if not done properly. Please make sure to follow the instructions provided by Lenovo strictly.

    1. Restoring BIOS default settings

If the settings do not appear as expected, you can try to restore the BIOS to the default settings:

In the BIOS menu, look for an option called “Restore Defaults”, “Load Setup Defaults”, or “Load Optimal Defaults” (usually the default settings). Defaults” in the BIOS menu (usually under the ‘Exit’ or ‘Save & Exit’ tab).

After restoring the default settings, re-enter the BIOS and check that the advanced settings are displayed.

    Hi,

I'm Rodrigo and I'll help you.

Some BIOS setup show simple settings and you have to select the advanced bios settings menu to see the advanced settings. What is your device maker/model?
