Monitor Does Not Support Input Timing
Hello-
I've had this new computer -Lenovo w / Win 11- for about 6 months.
The monitor is not new, but it's been working fine as before, since the change over.
For about the last month or so, however, I'm getting the following message at boot up.
'Monitor does not support the current input timing. Change to 1920 x 1080.'
I check under Settings, Display and it's already set to 1920 x 1080.
Is there more to it, or can this message be disabled in some way?

2024-12-18T23:58:11+00:00 The display setting was already at 1920 x 1080. Changing the input timing (only 2 settings; 60 hrtz and 75.03 hrtz,) changed the display resolution (stretching the screen content horizontally) to something other than the above, so I put it back. Then, upon doing a 'Restart' initially, the message still appeared. Then, I did a full 'Shut Down' and Start, and the message was gone. Then, I tried a 'Restart' again, and the message was still gone.
So maybe the instructions stopped the message somehow.
We'll see if it holds.
Thank you!

2024-12-17T18:18:06+00:00 I tried changing the input timing, but it just stretched out the screen content horizontally and changed the resolution setting in the process.
When I pressed 'revert,' it would not change back. Upon checking the display resolution, I found it had changed per the timing change accordingly. I forget what the resolution was reset to, but when I put it back to 1920 x 1080, the screen displayed content normally again.

You can change the refresh rate and see whether this can get rid of the message:
- Right click on the desktop and select "Display Settings"
- In the "Display Settings", find the "related settings" section. Then, click the "Advanced display" option.
- Select the monitor you are using in the "Select a display to view or change its settings".
- Find the "Choose a refresh rate" option and change it to the highest refresh rate.
