I'm trying to run a third-party app (Bricklink Studio) on my Windows 11 S-mode device, however I don't want to remove S-mode as I don't want to compromise on speed and safety. Is there any way I can run this app?

Hello, and thanks for reaching out! I'm Nals, and I'll be happy to assist you today.

Unfortunately, Windows 11 in S-Mode is specifically designed to enhance security and performance by only allowing apps from the Microsoft Store and using Microsoft Edge for safe browsing. Third-party apps like Bricklink Studio, which aren’t available on the Microsoft Store, cannot be run without leaving S-Mode.

If you absolutely need to use Bricklink Studio, you will have to switch out of S mode. However, please be aware that this is a one-way process and cannot be reversed.

    1. Open the Microsoft Store app.
    2. Search for "Switch out of S mode."
    3. Click on the "Get" button.
    4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.

Once you've switched out of S mode, you'll be able to install apps from any source, including Bricklink Studio.
