How do I fix my Windows 10 problems?

So basically a couple days ago I noticed that my Microsoft Applications don't work, I checked if it was caused by Windows Update. The thing is, when I go to settings and then to Windows Update, it says "Something went wrong. Try to reopen settings later." and even after a couple days its still saying the same. Also another thing is that when sometimes I open or close an app using taskbar, it randomly freezes. Like I can't do anything on the task bar and also when I use alt+tab it doesn't work too. It unfreezes itself after about 5-6 minutes. It happens a lot actually and it makes me really mad that I can't use my computer normally. Today my discord just randomly crashed and my taskbar froze for really long, so I tried to restart my PC using ctrl + alt + delete and when i clicked on "restart" my computer was stuck on the "restarting" screen for like 10 minutes. After all it restarted and I was able to write this but my taskbar has froze just when I logged in. Oh and also if that will help, on Microsoft Store whenever I open it, it says "Error encountered, one of the update services is not running properly." I already tried troubleshooting from settings but it didnt help, I also did a sfc scan in cmd but also didn't help. I will also upload some screenshots if that will help. Do you have any ideas on how do I fix all of this?

    Hi Bartek,

Please uninstall Lavasoft software and then run this fixlist.

    • Download fixlist.txt - [https://1drv.ms/t/s!AjVYLGw0OBWU4mdxbYMSGBuvn2o...](https://1drv.ms/t/s!AjVYLGw0OBWU4mdxbYMSGBuvn2oR?e=izyAdr)

    • Save Fixlist.txt to the folder where FRST64English.exe is located.

    • Close all programs.

    • Launch the Farbar Scanner tool and click "Fix".

    • Restart Windows when prompted.

    • Upload the output log file (FixLog.txt) to your OneDrive.

See if Windows Update works correctly.

Please run the Farbar Scanner and share your logs to inspect the services and check for malware.

    1. Download Farbar Recovery Scan Tool 64-bit (FRST64.exe)

    https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/farba...

Note: If Microsoft Edge or Chrome mislabels the Farbar Scanner executable as PUA/malware, choose to keep it by tapping … in the bottom bar, choosing Keep, and then choosing Keep anyway in the dialog that appears. See this screenshot: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/deployedge/me...

    1. If the OS language is non-English, rename FRST64.exe to FRST64English.exe.
    2. Run the program. Don't check or uncheck any options. Click "Scan".
    3. Zip the two logs, FRST.txt and Addition.txt, upload them to your OneDrive and share the link here.

    Hi Bartek, This is Ramesh.

One of the Windows Update services may have been turned off. Please do the following:

Press Win + R, type services.msc and click OK. This opens the Services MMC.

Inspect and fix the startup type of the following services and try to start them:

    • Windows Update [Start type: Manual]

    • Background Intelligent Transfer Service [Start type: Manual]

    • Update Orchestrator Service [Start type: Automatic (delayed start)]

    • Delivery Optimization [Start type: Automatic]

Try to start each of the above services manually. If some services are missing or unable to start, post the names of the missing services or the error message(s) here.
