How to get Microsoft Store back and Bluetooth issues.

I am experiencing a series of issues after resetting my PC. Initially, I was using Windows 10, but I mistakenly reset my system and it reverted to Windows 7. After upgrading back to Windows 10, I am facing the following problems:

  1. Bluetooth not working: Bluetooth doesn’t show up anywhere, including the Device Manager. I cannot find Bluetooth settings, and it does not appear under “Network adapters.”
  2. Windows Store not functioning: The Windows Store isn’t available on my PC. When I attempt to open it, the app closes immediately after opening. I’ve also tried running the wsreset command, but it doesn’t work as the app closes instantly.
  3. Apps not opening: Basic apps like Calculator and Clock have a gray line appear below them but don’t open. After trying some troubleshooting steps, these apps now open but close immediately.
  4. Driver issues: I’ve noticed that many drivers were missing after the reset, including Bluetooth drivers, and I’ve attempted to download the required drivers from the MSI website for my system (an MSI motherboard with the B450 chipset). Despite downloading drivers for network and audio, they did not resolve the Bluetooth issue.

Steps Taken to Troubleshoot:

  1. Resetting the PC: I used the reset option but mistakenly did the “recycle” option, which may have caused some important files to be deleted.
  2. BIOS settings: I entered the BIOS, but I could not find any option related to enabling Bluetooth, and I verified that Bluetooth was enabled in the BIOS.
  3. Reinstalling drivers: I downloaded and installed drivers for my chipset (AMD) and network (Realtek), but no changes were made.
  4. Created a new user account: I created a new user account, but this resulted in the apps not opening at all (gray line issue) and Bluetooth still not working.
  5. Tried troubleshooting commands:

• sfc /scannow: No violations found.

• DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth: No violations found.

• Get-AppXPackage *windowsstore* | Remove-AppXPackage and reinstalling Store: Didn’t work as the store isn’t showing up and apps are still not opening properly.

  1. Checked for corrupted files: I ran multiple scans to check for corrupted files and found nothing.
  2. Tried reinstalling Windows Store: I attempted to reinstall the Windows Store through PowerShell commands, but the issue persists with the apps still closing instantly.

System Details:

• MSI B450 Gaming Plus Max motherboard.

• Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060.

• Realtek High Definition Audio.

• Currently on Windows 10 (after resetting from Windows 7).

What I Need Help With:

  1. Restoring Bluetooth functionality.
  2. Ensuring that basic apps like Calculator and Clock work properly.
  3. Fixing the Windows Store so that I can install and use apps properly.
  4. Resolving any driver or system-related issues that might have been caused by the reset.

Thank you for your help.

Hello Shandon808 and welcome to the Microsoft Community!

Thank you for your feedback, in regards to your issue, I think there may have been some file corruption during the reset process that caused the problem

I see what you need help with, and the best way to fully resolve it would be to reinstall the system

Unlike a system reset, your computer will need to be installed from scratch

This will fix and bring back the features and files you need

And this is also the cleanest and most convenient way to do it

    method:

    1. You can click on the URL below:

    Download Windows 10

    1. Click the second download button on the page to download and install.
    2. When installing, choose not to keep any files or applications and reproduce the installation.

Then see if there is still a problem you can continue to feedback to me, for the problem I will give you the corresponding solution!

I hope you find the above information helpful.
