Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Community and I'll be glad to assist you today.
Please avoid adjusting the custom scaling unless it is necessary. Doing so can result in unreadable text and apps, and can affect the display settings. It may be challenging to revert back to the original settings once custom scaling is applied.
To turn off custom scaling,
a. Go to Settings.
b. Select Display.
c. Select "Turn Off custom scaling and Sign out".
d. Sign in to your Device again and set the recommended scaling for your device.
I hope this information helps. If you have any questions, please let me know and I will be happy to help you further.
Best regards,
Gunasekar N

If you are still experiencing issues,
a. Go to Settings > Accessibility > Text size, set it to 100%.
Next, Boot your PC in safe mode to adjust the scaling settings.
- On the Windows sign-in screen, press and hold the Shift key while you select Power > Restart
- Upon reboot, select Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Settings > Restart
- In the startup settings, press f4 to boot into safe mode.
(Go to Settings > Display settings > and turn off or set the desired scaling for your device) and restart your computer.
If you are still experiencing issues, perform a System restore method from the Windows recovery options window.

2024-09-03T02:32:45+00:00 Hello,
I think the issue is not with the scaling.....Whenever I restart my laptop, the resolution is being set to 800 x 600 for some reason automatically. Any fix for it ?
