Hello, I'm Quinn, and I'm happy to help.
Here's how to upgrade to Windows 10:
Make sure your PC meets the requirements: 1GHz processor, 1GB RAM (32-bit) or 2GB RAM (64-bit), 16GB storage (32-bit) or 20GB (64-bit), DirectX 9 graphics, and an 800x600 display. Get a valid Windows 10 product key. If upgrading from Windows 7/8.1, you may be eligible for a free upgrade if activated; otherwise, kindly purchase a key.
- Go to the Microsoft Download Windows 10 page: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-downlo... and download the Media Creation Tool.
- Open the Media Creation Tool after it's downloaded. Accept the terms and select Upgrade this PC now when prompted. The tool will check your PC and begin downloading the necessary Windows 10 installation files. This can take some time, depending on your internet speed.
- Once the download is complete, Follow the on-screen steps, choose to keep files or do a clean install, then let the PC restart multiple times.
- When the installation process begins, your PC will restart multiple times. Make sure not to turn off your computer during this phase.
- After the installation is finished, your PC will load Windows 10. Follow any additional prompts, such as selecting your region, and preferences, and signing in with your Microsoft account.
- Once Windows 10 is fully installed, go to Settings, then Update & Security, and select Activation. Enter your product key if prompted, or use your existing Windows 7/8.1 key to activate.
- Check if Windows 10 is activated by checking the activation status in the same menu.
