How may I convert a 217 page wordpad document to a pdf that I can email to my daughters?

You can do the following: access print, a printer selection box will appear, select Microsoft print to pdf, then choose where you want to save the PDF file.

To convert your WordPad document to a PDF, just open it, hit 'Ctrl + P', choose 'Microsoft Print to PDF', and save it.
