Razer blackshark v2 x mic not working

I have been using a Razer Blackshark V2 X for a while and it has been working fine. Although it has been having the problem of the computer not detecting the headset's microphone at all. I have looked at general and specific instructions on how to fix this but nothing I have done is working. As far as I know, nothing about the headset has changed and its audio (and hopefully) still works fine. I don't know if this is normal for this headset or this problem is exclusive only to me.

A short list of things I have tried: Checking system input, checking the Contol Panel sound area, (It says the mic is not plugged in, but the headset and my laptop only has one cord and it is plugged in and works for audio but no mic) updating and uninstalling the intel microphone array drivers in device manager, (the specific one for the mic does not appear).

    Hi Man Zukok,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

We're sorry to hear that your device is experiencing issues with the microphone not being available for your audio device.

We understand your frustration. It reduces the convenience of the device.

One thing to share with you is that we (members of the Answers community) are not product developers or experts in the field of hardware, we are just regular support people trying to do our best to provide support based on our limited experience and available information.

Driver versions, compatibility conflicts, hardware failures (electronic component/cable failures at the micro level) can all be factors related to the problem.

Due to the lack of access to your device, we are unable to determine if your device itself has a hardware failure.

    • If possible, you can cross-test it with other devices to further narrow the analysis of the problem.
    • For example, using a different port, a different brand of 3.5mm cable, a different Windows device.

In some cases, some community members will try to check if the computer has different types of drivers listed.

    • Press Win + X and select Device Manager from the menu, or type "Device Manager" in the search bar and select it from the results.
    • In Device Manager, locate the category that includes the device you want to update or check, and expand it by clicking the arrow next to it.
    • Right-click on the device you want to update or check and select Update driver.
    • In the Update Drivers window, select Browse my computer for drivers.
    • Next, choose Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer.
    • You will see a list of compatible drivers for your device.
    • If you see multiple options, you might choose the most recent or appropriate one for your needs, and click Next.
    • Then follow the instructions to install it.

Sometimes, some computers may come with audio-related applications. In the case of the Dell device, the Waves MaxxAudio application may have a separate option that affects the device's ability to recognize, and input audio.
