The built in speakers on my HP laptop have stopped working. The Microsoft automated system check is showing that 'no output device are connected' and can't seem to connect. Any idea how I can get the speakers working? Thank you!

    Hello,

I'm sorry to hear about the trouble with your laptop speakers! Let's try a few steps to get them working again:

    1. Run the Audio Troubleshooter:
      • Go to Settings > System > Sound.
      • Scroll down and click on Troubleshoot under the Related settings section.
      • Follow the prompts to let Windows diagnose and fix the issue.
    2. Check Audio Services:
      • Press Windows + R, type services.msc, and press Enter.
      • Find Windows Audio and Windows Audio Endpoint Builder.
      • Make sure both services are running and set to Automatic.
    3. Update Audio Drivers:
      • Press Windows + X and select Device Manager.
      • Expand Sound, video and game controllers.
      • Right-click your audio device (e.g., Realtek) and select Update driver.

If these steps don't resolve the issue, it might be worth contacting HP Support for further assistance.

    I hope this helps!
