I just recently did some automatic Windows updates on my computer and am getting a message that my version of Windows has reached the end of service. I currently have Windows 11 Pro 23H2 which should be the most recent one. Anyone else having this issue?

This is it, this is too much.

I have the same error on ALL of my Win 11 PCs on 23H2. I cannot receive any updates. The notification icon in the tray says "your version of Windows has reached end of life, click here to update". End of life is 2025. It goes to windows update and refuses to find or download any updates. The PC Health checker now says my PC hardware doesn't meet the requirements, which it did a few months ago. Says I don't have a TPM 2.0 on my $4,000 2024 Dell laptop. What a joke. What a horribly bad joke (Microsoft is the joke).

I am in IT and support Microsoft 365 at work, and almost every day we get a notice of an outage at Microsoft of varying severity. Microsoft is falling apart as a company, and has no idea what they are doing anymore. I have zero confidence they will resolve this issue timely and have any stability in the near future. My home PCs are now insecure and cannot receive security updates. I will spend the next week finding and installing the best current Linux distribution, and I will never look back.

    Windows and Microsoft are dead,

Hi, My name is Estrella, and I'm a Microsoft user like you. I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue. I'll be more than happy to help.

Many users have recently reported the same issue after applying recent updates, and it appears to be a bug. 23H2 will still be supported until November 2025: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/lifecycle/pro...

For now, I suggest reporting this to Microsoft via the Feedback Hub app (press Windows + F).

Don't worry, it's definitely Microsoft they got it wrong.

I have the same version, but I haven't received this message.

The end of service for Windows 11 Pro version 23H2 is November 11, 2025.

My windows Pro 22H2 is out a date as reached at the end of the service. Do I have to get a new Windows key for it? I mean, I can still play games and everything but that’s about it. I’m not gonna get any updates.
