Thank you! I was finally able to create an icon, but it doesn't give me the option of pinning to taskbar like I've been able to do with other icons. Why not?

On older versions of Windows it was easy to add a printer icon to the task bar, as I remember. But how do I do it on Windows 11?

2024-12-22T17:40:38+00:00 I really appreciate your help. As you can see, I get as far as Open Print Queue when I get a different window. Try as I may, I haven't been able to get the window you show. I'm using Windows 11 with MS 365. Does that make a difference? Any clues will be much appreciated!

Both will open the printer's queue.

2024-12-22T05:12:19+00:00 I don't know what you mean by PATH. I have the icon on my desktop now but I used the way you recommended RUN. But I'm not able to get even the 2nd popup to give me an option to Pin to Taskbar, see insert.
