    Hi,

I had the same Problem. Token worked for a long time, after some updates it stopped working.

Installing and uninstalling different version of the safenet client did not work.

I solved it by going the the Devicemanager in Windows

Windows detected the token as "USB-Token" in the devicemanager.

I clicked on "Change Driver" and Selected "Microsoft Usbccid smarcard reader (WUDF)"

With This Driver, the token worked fine again.

My token was an "eToken 5110 CC (940)" also named "Token JC"

    I hope this helps someone

Mine reported as "Ezio Generic" Smart card reader.

Your workaround worked for me also.

    Thank you!

I have a client that is having the same issue since upgrading to Windows 11. This was not a problem with Windows 10. My client has spoken to SafeNet over and over again to no avail and every fix they have tried will not speed up the PC's accessing SafeNet. It sounds like MS and SafeNet need to talk and figure this out since neither, independently has any answers.

    Hi eran,

I'm Sumit, here to answer your query at the Microsoft Community.

Apologies for any inconvenience you are experiencing. We are happy to help you.

I checked with SafeNet and there doesn't appear to be a known issue. By any chance can you raise a case at their support? They know better about their software. I am afraid we are just volunteers here trying to help.

I look forward to your response and am eager to collaborate until we find a solution.
