    Dear support,

I tried to follow the instructions but it doesn't work.

Since I updated to Win11, I cannot get the CH340 drivers working. I tried to disable the core protection and other internet recommendations. The status: When I connect a Chinese CH340 device (Wemos D1 mini pro) I get a pop-up window: USB device could not be detected (I translated this from German). The device manager shows USB-Controller-> Unknown USB device (Problem when requesting a device description). The properties of this devices shows under driver details: No driver required or driver not loaded.

I am somewhat desparate because I cannot program any of the Arduino devices I have.

    Thanks

    Dear customer.

    Thanks for choosing Microsoft Community.

In your description, you are looking for the 2019 version of the CH340 driver for WINDOWS 11.

I noticed that it seems that you are having some issues with your laser engraver after Windows Update.

For the current driver in Windows, you can try to roll back the current driver to a previous version by following the steps below

1 Search for “Device Manager” in the taskbar, click to open it.

2 Find CH340, click to expand

3 Locate the driver for your current graphics card, right-click, and select Properties.

4 At the top, click on the Driver tab and check if the option to roll back the driver is available, if so, please try it.

If it is not available, you can try manually selecting another driver

1 In Device Manager, right-click on the CH340, select Update Driver, and then select “Browse my computer for drivers.

2 On the “Select from list of computers” screen, click “Let me select from the list of available drivers on my computer” at the bottom.

3 On the “Select a device driver to install for this hardware” screen, check to see if there are any other drivers you can choose from, and if so, please try selecting a different driver and installing it.

If none of the above steps help you, you can try to find the corresponding driver on the CH340 website by following the link below
