Okay, your Chrome installation seems to be corrupt, the best option is to go to the Google website to download and install the latest version Chrome on top of the current installation.

Hello again, Chrome is not listed in the Installed Apps! Any suggestions?

Open the Settings App, then go to Apps - Installed Apps.

Scroll down that list to find Google Chrome and uninstall it from there.

Restart your PC, then download and install Chrome from the Google website.

Thanks Dave that worked and I have done a restart but the Chrome icon is still on my task bar and it opens up when clicked! I thought I had uninstalled it, have I done something wrong or missed a step? Why is that and how do I reinstall Chrome?

Hi, I am Dave, I will help you with this.

To ensure you do not loose your bookmarks, the best option is to backup your bookmarks before you re-install Chrome.

In Chrome, click the 3 dots at the top, on the resulting menu, select Bookmarks and Lists - Bookmark Manager

At the top of the resulting widow, click the 3 dots and from there, you can export out all your bookmarks to a HTML file for safe keeping.
