    Dear Rohit2353,

    Welcome to the Microsoft Community

It sounds like your Dell G15 5530 with Windows 11 24H2 is experiencing an unusual behavior where the startup sound plays during shutdown, rather than during startup.

This could be related to system settings or a possible glitch in Windows or your sound configuration.

Here are some suggestions to fix this issue:

    Check System Sounds Settings

Searching for Control Panel in the Start menu.

Go to Hardware and Sound > Sound > Sounds tab.

In the Program Events box, uncheck play windows startup sound.

    Disable Fast Startup:

Open Control Panel and go to Power Options.

Click on Choose what the power buttons do on the left sidebar.

Click on Change settings that are currently unavailable.

Under Shutdown settings, uncheck Turn on fast startup (recommended).

Save the changes and restart your computer.

    Check for Conflicting Software

If you have third-party software that customizes the startup or shutdown sounds (or other system sounds), try disabling or uninstalling it to see if that resolves the issue.

    Perform a Clean Boot

Press Windows + R, type msconfig, and press Enter.

Go to the Services tab and check Hide all Microsoft services.

    Click Disable all.

Go to the Startup tab and click Open Task Manager.

Disable all startup items in Task Manager.

Restart your computer and check if the issue persists.

    Perform a System Restore:

Type Create a restore point in the Start menu and select it.

    Click on System Restore.

Follow the prompts to restore to a previous point before the issue occurred.

Let me know if the problem persists.

    Best Regards,

Same problem happened after installing 24H2 update of windows 11 on Asus TUF Dash F15. Is there any permanent solution, like any update from Microsoft can fix this problem.
