after i updated my laptop i hot a notice saying windows 10 is ending support in 2025 and no theirs sign of windows 12 and its looks like ms is pushing windows 10 users to windows 11 and there is some people that don't like win 11 and another issue is a lot of businesses and are people still using windows 10 than win 11. does Microsoft has plans to release windows 12 at some point as i feel like we are forced to move to windows 11 whatever we like it or not. i will stick to windows 10 until i try windows 12 when it comes out.

    Hello,

Microsoft’s decision to end support for Windows 10 aligns with its standard lifecycle policy for operating systems. Windows 10 was originally released in 2015, and Microsoft committed to a 10-year support lifecycle, which means support will officially end on October 14, 2025. After this date, Windows 10 will no longer receive feature update or security update. That doesn't mean you cannot use Windows 10 after that. You can use it for as long as it runs.

Just like when Windows 8 and 7 ended support, for business users, extended security update will be available to buy them some time to trasition. For home users, Microsoft recently also annouced that extended security update will be available as well.

In addition, you can use third party security program of your choice if you don't want to move to Win11.

As for 12, Microsoft has not officially announced Windows 12's release date yet as of now.

I have window 10 it will end on 10/14/25 window 11 also. MS forcing people to get 11, but we don't know if we can get a upgrade on 11. And I'm not going to buy another computer. Talk about price gouging!! People cant afford to buy a new computer every time window life ends.

Windows 11 24H2, causes CPU deadlocks for me so i reverted back to Windows 10. They must fix the whole OS to end support. But also bring back moving the task bar... I dislike the new windows UI. It's terrible. If i wanted a Mac I'd buy one, Windows 10 is the best OS microsoft have made.

Correct, Microsoft cannot and will not block you from using it. If you have bluescreen, it is a local issue specific to each computer, typically it is hardware issue or driver issue.

You were spot on - newer apps will eventually move away from Win10, but that can take some years.
