Why does Copilot Pro keep apologizing instead of just meet up with commitment by Microsoft?

I subscribed the Copilot Pro, with the experience I had on my working as my notebook at work installed the Copilot. I could gather information quickly. I knew that there was limitation on the home free version and so I subscribed for the paid Copilot Pro for home use today, based on the description on the Microsoft page comparing free vs Pro version.

After using for an hour, it was a total disappointed experience. The Copilot Pro offered low level of response. I could not feel any difference vs free version. I questioned the Copilot, it kept apologizing and repeat the same answer. The question I asked was actually similar to what I asked with Copilot in business, even I cut down the request by half. I got the reply in business within 10 seconds, but the Copilot Pro just offered me a small fraction (probably 5%) of answers which I could get it from Copilot in my office.

The story simply told me that Microsoft simply ignored the normal customers at home, with the same AI machine, the level of response is extremely different. The Copilot Pro worth nothing. It is better to use free version as it will simply get the same result.

I AM TOTALLY DISAPPOINTED WITH THE COPILOT PRO AND NOT RECOMMEND IT UNLESS THERE IS A MAJOR CHANGE OF ATTITUDE BY MICROSOFT THROUGH THE HOME USE CUSTOMERS. The good news is many companies are offering alternatives and we have many choices in the market nowadays.

That is not necessarily the truth; the Copilot has digressed and has become the least intelligent AI model on the market. Regardless of the prompt and even when receiving exact prompts from better AI models, it still fails.

Why has the quality of this program deteriorated to being equivalent to a spell check and calculator? It has become increasingly worse, with the system often just agreeing with me or fabricating stories when I request articles on specific topics. It lists off made-up names and situations, and when I demand citations, it apologizes, claiming it didn't realize I wanted true examples, despite it being stated in the input.

In attempting to troubleshoot work or computer programs, technical support, etc., it repeats the same incorrect answer and does so repeatedly. When I ask for a new answer, it changes the title, like "Alternative Solutions," but provides the same response.

Last summer, the system was decent, but developers have continued to downgrade it. ChatGPT fixed two days' worth of problems on both of my PCs (problems created by Copilot) within an hour. I feel deserving of a refund because this service is not worth $20 a month; it should be a $3.99 per month phone app.

Why is Microsoft unable to provide a decent AI model? If the AI makes up answers and uses outdated data, what value does it offer?

With Copilot, as with other AI models, the quality of the prompt has a significant bearing on the quality of the answer.

Writing good quality prompts is not easy. Fortunately, there is a lot of terrific information on the Internet that teaches how to write effective prompts.

I took advantage of this information, and it has really helped me to get useful answers from ChatGPT. Since Copilot is based on ChatGPT, I sincerely recommend that you spend some time learning to write prompts. It will make a big difference in the results you get from Copilot.
