Jan 2025 Latest Windows update has created havoc

I’m not sure what is going on but my whole computer is possessed. Random windows opening and closing with or without a mouse connected. I have uninstalled and reinstalled my mouse but within a couple of minutes of logging in it all starts again. Touchpad also not very responsive.

Tried going to update history to uninstall the latest update but no option comes up.

Any ideas?

Had the same issue with the latest windows 11 feature update. Now get this I work at a tech shop specializing in fixing PCs and Smart phones and it threw me for a loop, so to speak. I updated my PC to the latest version of Windows 11 and the next thing I know the entire desktop kept freezing with nothing would function including Ctrl+Alt+Delete which would allow me to bring up task manager. So as soon as I was able to manually reboot the PC I turned on event manager, task manager, and other diagnostic tools to try and determine where the problem was coming from - NADA. So I attempted to look for any suspicious looking drivers that may be causing the issue - everything looked fine. Checked my CPU - passed, checked my RAM - passed, and checked my other hardware components - all passed. Attempted to run SFC /scannow - no issues. Went to run chkdsk and the application wouldn't even finish and instead restart to Windows 11 which again, gave way to freezing issues. I finally just brought it down to the shop and re-installed Windows 10 and re-installed many of the games I tend to play which took hours. Big disappointment Microsoft for rushing to provide incremental strides forward without doing a quality check to make sure the program is functioning decently. Unfortunately many of the PC games and other applications I run prefer Windows or I would really be looking into moving to a different platform such as Unbuntu. Please double check what's being put out.

P.S. I did attempt to uninstall the latest updates as well, but the problem lingered which was probably due to values being changed in the system registry. Not trying to go through the whole registry to try and match system values so that everything can operate effectively. It was just easier to to re-install Windows 10 and call it a day.

    Hi

I have issues with the last update... When it finished and strat up my wallpaper was gone (weird) but when I start Fortnite all the screen was a mess the scaling I had was gone, I readjust to look the same as before but then just today I realize that a software that I use to make renders can't handle a simple render it just close the window. I can't do my job now

I have tried system restore like 6 times it always fails every time. Now after causing BSOD multiple times a day, I guess MS decided to fix that but now my entire taskbar has changed, And I can no longer right click copiolet to remove it from bar.Stop forcing stuff on people. I have been using edge, now I guess I have to go back to brave
