How to show certain icons like recycle bin but hide all others?

I know how to hide desktop icons in Win 11. I also know you can go into themes and click apply on recycle bin. However I can't get the recycle bin to show if the others are hidden. What do I do? Where do people put the recycle bin these days anyway?

Hi, I am Dave, I will help you with this.

The option to Hide Icons on the Desktop will hide all icons on your Desktop, it cannot be used to hide specific icons, if you only want to show specific icons on your Desktop like the Recycle Bin, then you would need to either delete those icons or create a folder somewhere else to put those icons into the folder for safe keeping.

What a surprise Microsoft doesn't allow you to do that. Jesus. So as someone who wants to flick between them quickly I can't.

Just like the Calendar on the taskbar missing functionality, no multi screen wallpaper at lockscreen, and more.

Either way I thank you very much for your answer. It's appreciated!
