Why can't we zoom in preview mode in file folder
I want to be able to zoom into a picture while I am in preview mode when browsing files in my folders.

I'm Srinivasa, An independent advisor and a Windows user like you. I'm here to help.
In Windows File Explorer’s preview pane, the zoom functionality does not allow for in-depth zooming on images.
This limitation is primarily because the preview pane is intended to provide a quick overview rather than detailed zoom capabilities,
which helps keep File Explorer lightweight and responsive.
I would suggest to use Photos app for zoom in images.
Double click the image to open it in the Photos app, where you can zoom in and out with more control using your mouse scroll wheel or pinch-to-zoom gestures on a touchpad.
