    Hello GilbertAckerman,

Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Community and I'll be glad to assist you today.

Based on the description provided, it appears that you have signed in with a different Microsoft account/email that is set as the administrator of your device, and you would now like to sign in with a different account.

Follow the steps carefully one by one.

    1. Type Netplwiz in the search bar on the taskbar and click enter.
    2. Click Add.
    3. Select Sign in without a Microsoft account (not recommended).
    4. Select Local account > Create a username and Password.
    5. Once a new local user account has been created, select the account, click the group membership tab and make the local user the Administrator.
    6. Once done, sign out and sign in with the local user account created.

Go to Settings > Accounts > Your info > Sign in with a Microsoft account instead.

Here, you can sign in with the Microsoft account you’d prefer to use.

    Once completed, restart your computer.

    Note -

If you have any important files or documents, make sure you copy all your files from your Old user profile (Local disk C: /Users / Your Username) to your new local user profile and then sign in with your email address on the settings.

I hope this information helps. If you have any questions, please let me know and I will be happy to help you further.

    Best regards,

    Gunasekar N
