    Hello,Deeoxi.

Welcome to posting in the Microsoft Community.

DUMP.tmp files are temporary files generated by some programs or systems at runtime, usually used to save temporary data or record error messages. Their sources may include system crash logs, software cache files, or files left over from the installation process. These files are generally not useful if you don't have an active troubleshooting system error or debugging need.

In most cases, these files are safe to delete. Before deleting them, you can either right-click on their properties to confirm generation time and size, or scan them with antivirus software to make sure they are not viruses. If you are sure they are not harmful, you can either delete them manually or clean up the temporary files with the Windows “Disk Cleanup” utility (which can be performed via Settings > System > Storage > Storage Awareness). If some files cannot be deleted, restart your computer and try again.

These files usually have no impact on the system and deleting them will not cause problems. To prevent them from piling up again in the future, you can clean the disk regularly, keep your system and software running properly, and install antivirus software for real-time monitoring. If these files are generated in large numbers and appear repeatedly, it may be necessary to check for problems with recently installed software or the system in case there is a potential risk.

You can share some information in this thread and I will answer your questions further. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!

    Best Regards,
