How can I permanently disable or remove Windows Defender on Windows 10.

Before you answer, please know that I do not want any recommendations about disabling it or that it is a bad idea. I do not care and I simply want to disable it. If you are not telling me how to disable it please do not answer.

I am simply looking for a way to permanently disable or remove Windows Defender. It constantly gets in the way of me trying to do things on my PC and it is very frustrating to not have full control over my computer. When I disable real time protection it will eventually turn on again without my input. I have my own way of securing my computer and if my computer is compromised it is my own fault.

    This works:
    https://github.com/TairikuOokami/Windows/blob/main/Microsoft%20Defender%20Disable.bat

I tried many things that didn't work permanently, got very frustrated, but finally found a working this solution.

You can also copy/paste those commands instead of running the .bat file if you prefer.

HA HAAaaa, yes. I have been saying for decades that antivirus IS a virus!!! Finally, people are coming to realize it for themselves. Good firewall and good practices keep your PC safe and clean. NOTHING else!!! I use free Comodo firewall and "umatrix" extension in all my browsers.
I would love to get this worthless intrusive annoying MS Defender crap off my PC forever. It's worthless. It's intrusive. It's annoying. And It's CRAP!!!!

Oh how I'm very quickly despising microsoft even more after dealing with win 11 the last few weeks. Literally took me over a week, 100+ hrs, just to get a premade/setup laptop to within "reasonable use." (It's just for midgrade gaming for like 3 of us so it's good enough for that.) All it needs is for defender to F-off now, draining CPU like a mfer.... I remember when it took 12 hrs, maybe a day max, on XP and 8 hrs of that (possible overnight) was waiting on dl'ds....

I don't even think I waited 20, hell 10, mins for dl'ds on this laptop 99% of that time was digging, restarting from enabling and disabling cr@p constantly and other back and forth bs, (Like spending all day "playing" Populous on the SNES back in the day but actually figuring out what the controls finally do by 4am then leaving to take a nap but some **** turns it off so you have to remember what was what and start over again, but every day for a week straight 🙃)... And even after all that time and with it as it is now (all the preloaded bs, settings and EVERYTHING turned off, blocked, uninstalled, w/e) I can barely run hulu on edge if Def. starts updating and I've added barely anything yet (maybe 100 mbs used), outside the "internets"(hulu's) 1 gig cache. And, other than the graphics card, it's damn near 3 times more powerful than my main computer.... it's fking ridiculous. I'm already pissed and annoyed just thinking about what I would need to do to get it to my standards and what may be in store for me later, hoping mine holds out until they HOPEFULLY get their $h¡ŧ together...

Better yet the original creators of android need to start doing operating systems for computers and take over. Let softy follow the way of intel.

Defender is at best malware and at worst a virus itself, as are the Windows Updates. These computers belong to us, not Microsoft. If we do not want their service, we have every right to disable them, including the HORRID updates that crash or cause instability in our systems.

Then I suggest you abandon Windows and install GNU/Linux. Easy solution.

Linux is ****. Period. It can't do even 1/3 of the things Windows can. It has almost zero support for drivers needed to run anything beyond the most basic applications. Linux is a toy compared to a powerhouse like Windows. To say get Linux, an inferior, unworkable OS is unhelpful and stupid.
