New PC Shuts Down Randomly

As the title says, my brand new PC is shutting down randomly. Once it shuts down, the fans go into full blast, and the lights stay on including mouse and keyboard. It happens at random. Sometimes it shuts down within 5 minutes of light browsing and other times after hours of playing games.

Attempted Fixes

-Updated GPU Drivers

-Updated multiple Motherboard related drivers

-Flashed the BIOS

-Reseated GPU, RAM, and SSD's

-Checked all cable connections

-Stress tested the CPU, GPU, and Motherboard

-Checked all drivers within device manager

-Ran SFC scannow which found corrupted files

-Ran DISM cleanup image and it gets stuck at 62.3%

-Checked for Windows Updates

Unfortunately, I just returned a refurbished pc from Corsair which was having issues. It was similar as it kept powering down, but instead was resulting to a BSOD. Eventually that pc stopped even turning on, so I returned it. I'm exhausted and tired of going down rabbit holes with 2 PC's back to back now. Please someone help! I just want a working PC! lol

Here are my specs

Gigabyte RTX 4080 Super

Intel i9-14900KF

Asus Z790 P Wifi

64 GB Corsair Dominator RAM

6 TB SSD

Corsair RM1000E Power Supply

I've tried looking through event viewer for clues, but I don't fully understand what I'm looking for. Also I'm not receiving any minidump logs related to these shutdowns.

As I mentioned, usually are related to that, not always, I keep my original suggestion as the one you should go with, but you could also try to change the OS SSD as those are another common reason for PCs to shut down unexpectedly and without a warning or error file

Another reason could be a faulty power supply unit that fails at times to supply enough energy to the PC

That was my initial thought as well, but the temps are operating as normal. Also as stated I ran stress tests with no issues. I've watched the temps when it crashed and the GPU was around 60° and the CPU was around 50°.

Hi, Goorin, I am Jeronimo, Thanks for reaching out! I'm an Independent Advisor and a Microsoft user like you.

If the PC is new, this is probably a hardware related issue, as unexpected shutdowns usually are related to heat, and that could be why after the shutdown your fans start working more.

I recommend that if you didn't overclocked your processor or the GPU, contact the manufacturer before its too late for a warranty process, I understand how frustrating can that be, but its the best option in hardware related issues.
