Bonjour service being disabled and not starting in Windows 11 on startup

Been having an issue with the Bonjour services under Windows 11.

It shows as stopped and disabled after startup. I have repeatedly set the service to automated to start, then started it.... but every reboot and it goes back to disabled.

Before reboot:

After reboot:

Note that I also have a Windows 10 system (actually running on a VM under Linux) and am not having this problem on that system.

Any help/ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks for posting your solution. I've implemented it and I've finally, got a way around this. Shame that Microsoft haven't come up with anything!

It's not ideal, I don't know what the implications are of disabling the Core Isolation Memory Integrity but it's lessened my annoyance!

Hello, can you please resolve/fix this same issue I have in Windows 11, never had this issue before when running Windows 10.

I am having same error popup. This Module is blocked from loading into the Local Security Authority and something do with Bonjour library mdnsNSP.dll. If you happen to find out how to set an exception instead of disabling LSA, I would like to know as well.

Bonjour is supposed to be installed with iTunes on Windows. I end up uninstalling iTunes and Bonjour on Win 11. And then install Apple devices for Windows https://www.microsoft.com/store/apps/9NP83LWLPZ9K , which supposed to be the new app for backing up iphone. However, a lot of features are missing, like setting backup path and stuff is all missing.

Moreover, iTunes also conflict with nVidia Control Panel and nVidia GeForce Experience. When you close iTunes with these nVidia app running in background, your Windows 11 will lag for at least 3 minutes. You will see your mouse pointer is not responsive and the pointer is like swimming on desktop.

Same problem. It took me a bit of searching, but here's what to do.

    Open Computer Management,

    Open Services & Applications,

    Double click Services,

    Click on Bonjour,

    then More Actions,

    Properties,

    change to Automatic & Apply,

click Start/Restart & then Refresh. (Done)

Bonjour should now read as Running.
