USB Headset has too low volume in 24h2 update

My USB headset seems to be very low volume in Windows 24h2. But the same USB headset while working on another laptop with Windows 23h2 doesn't seem to have this issue, so it definitely might not be the headset issue. Can someone please help me fix this issue? Thanks!

Have tried many troubleshooting issues.

Nothing helped

If this matters, I recently updated my drivers for Ultek under the optional updates.

    Hi Shashank Jaganntha

    Trying to return 23h2

Press win+X at the same time to select the system

Click on windows update and select history of updates

Click on Recovery and see if there is a “Back” option.

In most cases, you have 10 days to go back.

If this option is available, select “Back”. This will keep your personal files, but will remove any apps and drivers installed after the update, as well as any changes you've made to Settings

Note: It is still recommended that you make a backup of important data

    Best wishes

    Thanks for the reply!
Tried everything you mentioned above but no improvement.
For Uninstall and reinstall driver there is no checkbox for Uninstall the driver. But still tried disabling both microphone and headset and restart but still no improvement.
    Checked application settings.
I have only one format option in my settings.
Is there any thing else you would suggest me to do.

    Hi Shashank Jaganntha

    Welcome to the Microsoft Community

Understanding your problem , the volume of USB headsets is too low in the 24H2 version

If the volume of your USB headset is too low after updating to Windows 24H2, you can try the following steps:

    Uninstall and reinstall the driver

I noticed that you mentioned it in the link you provided, please ignore it if you have already done it

Open the device manager, find your USB headset, right-click to uninstall the device and check Uninstall the driver. Restart the computer to automatically download the device driver

    Check the application settings:

Some applications have their own volume control. Check the settings of the application you are using to make sure the volume is not set too low.

    Adjust the audio output format:

The audio format output may affect compatibility.

Right-click the speaker icon on the taskbar and select "Sound".

Select your device and then click "Properties".

Under the "Advanced" tab, you can select a different default format (such as 16-bit, 44.1 kHz or 24-bit, 96 kHz).

Try different settings to see if you can increase the volume.

Contact me if you need anything else.

    Best wishes
