I have a Microsoft mobile wireless 3500 mouse playing up and lag is awful teleporting to. The fingerpad works OK but mouse not. How do you fix this or has anyone gone back to Windows 10.

I encountered similar issues after 24H2 update, and tried all the existing Windows 10/11 mouse lag fix available here on this forum but none of them worked for me.

The only one that fixed this problem was this:

    1. Open the run dialog box using Win + R key
    2. Type main.cpl and click enter
    3. Go to the Pointers section and select the Text Select

  2. Then click Browse and replace the text select pointer with beam_r.cur
  3. Select Apply and it should be able to fix the issue (if changes aren't applied immediately, try restarting your device once)

Pre Win 11 24H2, my mouse was flawless. Post 24H2's upgrade, I'm experiencing a lot of lags but only when Citrix Workspace has launched published apps.

Less noticeable on a wired mouse, but still present.

I captured a MP4 using Snippet reproducing the problem.

I'm having mouse lag also, immediately after upgrading to 24H2. The mouse pauses, then suddenly takes a jackrabbit launch to catch up to where the pointer should be.

Exact same experience for me. I have a wireless Dell mouse, has always been working perfectly, and it became pretty much unusable after the 24H2 update because of the above. I tried both Bluetooth and wireless dongle mode, in both cases the mouse jerkiness / lagging occur frequently and make it impossible to use. Only recourse right now is to use a wired mouse.

All my mouse usage is poor after 24H2 with various programs even when on desktop. All of my machines are messed up in one way or another with 24H2. I feel going back to Windows 10 is the only way forward.
