How do you preview the picture-videos in the file folders to show the preview of them before clicking them?

  • You used to be able to preview the pictures, videos, or documents in their file folders before making them bigger. The thumbnail or icon used to at least give me an idea of what it is.... how do I make it to where it does that again?

Hi Stephanie, I am Paulo and I'd like to help.

Do you mean all your files only show icons instead of thumbnails? If so, you may enable thumbnails by clicking the three dots menu in File Explorer > Options then click on View tab. Uncheck the "Always show icons, never thumbnails" then Apply and OK.
