My name is Jonathan Deives. I'm an Independent Advisor and I will be happy to help you.

Go to Lock Screen settings again, click on "Lock Screen Status" > The first option "None" which is above "Email" will disable these lock screen widgets.

it keeps them off maybe once and then they come back. i'm not able to disable it permanently. ideas? thx. it's so annoying.

and i dn't have anything that says lock screen status. and it's not above email. there is something called Dev. i have attached an image of what i have in settings. even though i do put in None,as i said it doesn't last. so i clicke on the firstone on the left that originally said Dev in red and chose None and it doensn't work as you sa it should. I did not choose weather but it keeps flipping to that. now what please. do yu have a screen shot? and i don't use the weather app so i don't know where i wujld find the lock screen status. where is it?Image

Sorry, I just saw that you edited the previous message with the screenshot.

In the "Choose an app to show detailed status on the lock screen" option, select None and see if the issue persists.
