How to get higher Bluetooth compatibility

My device has an LMP of 8, which means it only has a Bluetooth compatibility of 4.2, while my headset has a 5.2 BC. Are there any workarounds to this? Any new drivers I can install for my GL553VD asus, or maybe a dongle? As much as possible I would really like to avoid updating to windows 11 which I think isn't even possible for my laptop.

    Hello,

Unfortunately there's no workaround. LMP is determined by hardware, not software or driver or settings. You need a new bluetooth adapter, whether it is internal or external (USB), it is fine. Stick with name brand ones so you can get good driver support.

    Hello,

If your Bluetooth card doesn't support Bluetooth 5.2, you can't do anything to change Bluetooth compatibility; You will have to either upgrade your Bluetooth card, get a Bluetooth 5.2 dongle, or get a new computer.

    Hope this helps.
