Wordpad is missing from my computer

How can I reinstall it?

Word is insanely expensive for just creating documents, and Notepad does not do a fraction of what it's expected to since that massive unnecessary update it went through.

Wordpad was one of the last functional, usable programs on Windows. It did everything I needed it to. How can I get Wordpad back where it belongs?

That's a bit moronic isn't it? There was nothing wrong with wordpad and since I get an update from microsoft, it disappears. MS doesn't need to interfere with people's lives. The same when I had to reinstall my background image. Microsoft = morons!

The online version of Microsoft 365's scam ripoff service does not work for the way many users get work done.
We need an offline version, not all of us maintain an internet connection and not all of us welcome Microsoft's dishonest policies of violating the privacy of users that dare use any of their products or services.

Google is about as bad as Microsoft when it comes to not violating the users privacy, and blatantly lying to end users.

We should have basic tools like the ability to type a simple document without having to scour the web for some new alternative that will likely have our privacy in even more jeopardy.

We should not be creating accounts or logging in to accomplish such basic tasks.

Not to mention greedy. Some of us don't want to pay for a most likely overpriced subscription.

I literally could not care less about more features. -_- Maybe some people do, but I was very happy with WordPad. And not everyone has 24 hour access to online, you know, or wants Google or Microsoft into their business 24/7.

I am very disappointed that Wordpad was removed. I thought I was crazy (lol) at first because I could NOT locate IT! That means that I cannot access the documents that I created with Wordpad. Is Wordpad that much of a burden for Microsoft? It was simple to use. It would be nice if we had a choice. I like a lot of things about Microsoft, but this is NOT one of them. Just my opinion ....... sure it does not really count, but I'm posting it anyway!
